lcn the only 'active' club in Austin?

Ok, thats a bit pushing it, but still -- with the apparent demise of Piston Broke, and nothing quite yet formed from the musings of the so-called "Austin Scooter Alliance" (not a club, but just James' name for the Sunday rides), there isn't much as far as 'scooter' clubs in Austin anymore.

Well, there is the 'Smart Ass Scooter Sisters' aka SASS...

A small group of scoots took a nice ride on a cool, cloudy Sunday afternoon in Austin, ending up on the tarmac of the old Robert Mueller International Airport. Photos in gallery section.

Chicks on wheels.

Austin lcn one-man chapter cha-cha rode with the "Smart-ass Scooter Sisters" last Sunday in lieu of the usual Jo's meetup (and foregoing the Capitol 10K ride due to extenuating circumstances - a killer hangover) and discovered that this group of ladies are damn hardcore with a 25 mile ride in the 93 degree weather, ending up out at McKinney Falls State Park, where we all cooled our heels in the refreshing waters. Excellent.
